Mattresses come in various designs. We have a nice collection of mattresses suitable for use in a folding bed. When is a mattress suitable for a folding bed? First, of course, a mattress should not be too thick. If the mattress is too thick, the foldaway bed is likely to fail to close. Our thickest mattresses in our collection are 20 cm thick. However, the choice often comes down to an 18 cm or 16 cm thick mattress. If the folding bed has a rather shallow cupboard and the desire is to fold the bed with duvet and all, we may recommend a 16 cm thick mattress, for example. We also have a choice of high-quality mattresses 16 cm thick. Think, for instance, of a pleasant cold foam mattress!

Choose the right padding!

Not all mattresses, in terms of filling, are suitable for use in a folding bed to be used. This is because not every mattress is designed to stay upright. Some fillings sink down due to gravity. Memory foam/ Tempur/ memory foam and latex mattresses are not suitable for use in a folding bed. These fillings will slowly collapse. A cold foam, pocket spring, innerspring or polyether mattress, however, is suitable for your folding bed. The mattresses are available and can be ordered in any size. They are custom ordered for you so that they fit perfectly in your folding bed in cupboard. Also, most mattresses for a foldaway bed can be chosen in a firm or supple version. The mattresses are suitable for all our types of folding beds, including, for example, a mattress for a folding bed with table or desk.
